Mission and Vision

The mission of the NMR Facility is to enhance the research infrastructure available to MU scientists by ensuring access to state-of-the-art instrumentation for the structural elucidation of molecules by NMR spectroscopy.

To accomplish that goal we will:

Provide equipment maintenance and infrastructure support of research projects that require NMR.
Provide training to scientists so that they are proficient in the use of Facility instrumentation.

In 2008, a $2.1 Million 800 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer was added to the Facility.

Our continuing goal is to provide access to resources, facilitate collaborations between faculty and other MU scientists, and help strengthen proposals for extramural funding.
