Mission of the Chemistry Graduate Student Organization:

1. To be a liaison between faculty and students (via meetings of CGSO representatives with faculty in response to student body’s needs and requests; via meetings organized by the CGSO between the student body and the faculty)
2. To enhance the students’ usability of the departmental and university resources, including instrumentation and access to funding opportunities.
3. To provide a social atmosphere in which faculty and students can be acquainted (via CGSO-funded social events).
