Strategies and Tactics in Organic Synthesis
I have had the privelege of editing Volumes 4-7 of Strategies and Tactics in Organic Synthesis. Volumes 4 and 5 appeared in 2004, volume 6 appeared in 2005 and volume 7 will appear in 2008. They are great texts for teaching organic synthesis and introducing the concept that failure in synthesis is not the end, but the beginning of new ideas that eventually solve problems.
